I've got an HHA moveable sight with 2x scope that cost me almost $300, it works great, no noise, vibration or any bad habits that I know of, but it just hangs with the monsterbow on the wall of the shop till I shoot my half dozen yearly arrows through it then I hang it till next year...........So at this rate it will last me the rest of my life... kind of a waste, but it's there if I ever get tired of enjoying archery.......

Those Black Gold flashpoints are awesome, I've had mine for four years and the only problem I've had was my own stupid fault ;D(broke some pins) , a quick call to the company, a little shipping to them, and they sent my sight back like new....even fixed stuff I wasn't worried about(new photochromatic covers and some other nice touches) All at no charge to me....minus shipping it back to them. They paid return shipping after the fix. That is why I'll shoot Montana black gold till they don't make em no more. Also I'm a fan of the allen screw style pin and gang adjustments....set it and forget it, as uncomplicated and least likely to fall apart as it gets . I have a TrophyRidge Micro Alpha V5. I like the vertical inline pins. They are good for hunting not so sure about 3d though. The TruGlo Micro-Brite sight is based in Copper Johns sights and have differnt pin sizes for the differnt ranges. Meaning .029 for 20, .019 for 30 and .010 for 40. Pretty decent sight.

I don’t know where you got that Hogg from but the factory stands behind their products. I have been using the wrapped Hogg It with 010 pins in rain, sleet, snow and heat and have found it to be the finest sight I have ever used. It has seen daily service for 18 months. Perhaps the SDP is built differently than the Hogg It. I thought they all used the same individual pin adjustments. Either way, call Spot Hogg and they will straighten it out for you. They will issue you a work order number for reference. You are the first person I have heard complain about one of their products. I am sad to hear you have had such a negative experience. What are you looking for in a sight? Do want one just for 3D or just to hunt? Are you looking for one all-around sight for both? For 3D shooting the Sword Apex 3rd Plane Micro especially for the money is tough to beat. I don't really like it for hunting because of the small sight housing and the tightening knob on the dovetail makes it a pain to mount a quiver. I haven't purchased any of their products since they were bought out, but the new owners have said they are buying all of their materials from the same suppliers and gaurantee no change in quality.
