I don't know the heck it is with me and sights, but I'm cursed A week ago, I purchased a Spot Hogg 7 deadly pin sight based on my positive, previous experience with Spot Hogg. BT took one look at the sight and so tactifully stated his first impression of the sight. "What a piece of s**t! " ;D Prophecy fufilled. Half the jam screws came stripped out of the box. The bottom pin (which is my 50yd), will not tighten down enough to eliminate play and the others I certainly don't trust anymore So lets discuss sights that don't suck Sights I have used that I did not have any problems were the Spot Hogg Right On, Copper John Deadnuts, and Montana BlackGold Flashpoint ( yes, Kris, you may tell me "I told you so" now ).

Get an HHA. Best sight on the market, and amazing customer service. Single pin is the way to go. JMHO.....

Built like a tank, simplicity both in design and at the time of the shot. I usually leave mine set at 20 yards...that puts me dead on at my average range of 25 to 28 yards (from a 18 foot elevation). Easy to adjust to different ranges if the opportunity arrises. The supplied yardage tapes were dead on.

I have the Black and gold 7 pin which is just awesome That gives me pins to 100yds. i don't see myself using another sight ever again.
you could also look into their slider, maybe a 3 or 4 pin deal, then with only moving the slider once you will have 6-8 different settings

I went with the HHA OL-5519 sight and I'm absolutely thrilled with the purchase. It takes a little while to get sighted in, but once it is .... it's spot on!

I found mine easy to sight in...shoot groups at 20 then at 60, subtract the numbers and you get the perfect yardage tape. I shot my first robin hood at 26 yards after sighting in.

I guess I went at it differently. I started at 20 yards, and went back to the maximum flat flight I had. Each and every yard I went back I made a notation for. I guess that's why it took me as long as it did.
