I got my blob target yesterday, and I am very impressed so far. I needed to get a target that will withstand the savage pounding of the XLR8. I set it up in front of the blown out targets that the Blob will replace. Here's some pics. I'll update from time to time to give an idea of how this target wears. I've found that two blade BHs usually will not rip up a target, so I'll see when I start shooting 3 blades into it. The BH I used is a Magnus 100gr Stinger traveling at 349fps w/ 90.63# KE @ 35yds.     |

Oh yeah, this bow is the latest/greatest..the problem is getting a target that can handle it. I guess I need to add it to my sig.  |

A couple hundred bucks to my door...we'll see how it pans out.  |

good back stop.
I like the fact that it comes without a target face.
I wipe out the target faces on my backstop (Rhinehart) before season.
Focusing on center works better for me when the real thing comes along.

Spiker, if you would, keep and eye out for arrow wear. Some on archerytalk said that they had noticed substantial shaft wear.
Let us know in a week or two.
