I met the owner at the Cleveland sportsman's show in Ohio this year and I wanted to take the time to talk about his product.
He is very passionate about his creation and it's ability to help in a worst case scenario... as I am always trying to be mindful of when I am setting up for the season.
Suffice it to say that we were both on the same page as we talked.
I wish I would have had this product earlier last year because it is designed to increase the amount of blood flow that is available after the shot.
It might have saved Doegirl and I one lost deer which ran a hard pan field, going too fast for the wound that was inflicted. If he just would have bled more.
The shot was a vital shot (no doubt) but we just didn't have the blood to get us to him before night and the coyotes came.
The product (bloudhound) is an anticoagulant that is applied to the broadhead and shaft to increase blood flow and decrease clotting. It's safe to use and all natural.
This caught my attention because the old school Mafia used the same idea back in the 20's when they would load their hollow points with garlic to do just the same thing. ;D
But there is more.
This additive also promotes better healing if the deer has received only a flesh wound.
I like everything I heard about this formula and got myself a bottle for this year. We might just be trying it early on a preserve hunt this summer if we have time.
Bottom line is that while I don't have a first hand experience with this product I do believe in its potential and I will be using it.
Take a look and decide for yourself if this is something that you might want to try.
Holy smokes is this Logo is huge!
