I finally finished processing my deer from last Thursday. It is definitely no fun without the "crew"!!! It is ussually my bro and i, and at least one other friend cutting, and my wife, and sis-in-law packing. I did all the cutting myself, and Jen packed it all. Combined we have 15 hours into it. I ended up with 60 pounds of boneless, trimmed venison. Backstrap, and tenderloins, 2 -4 pound roasts, steaks, ground, and breakfast sausage.
All finished just in time to go try to tip over another one!!!!

Glad to see your done for now The folks that have never taken a deer have no idea how much hard work is needed to get a deer out of the woods and processed properly . It's even harder when the weather is on the warm side like it has bene.Proper handling makes a big difference to the outcome.I shot a doe for my Son to make sausage out of years ago.It froze after hanging and I busted a gut removing the hide (should have skinned it earlier)When he went to start the sausage he found the pork butt he had picked up was spoiled Now go get a nice little one ;D they clean up real nice

When I put the venison in my moms freezer this morning, and taking into consideration meat eaten, and given away, I ended up with 76 pounds of meat.
