I went out and tried to set up the same shot I missed yesterday.About 15 yards but the stand is I'll say 4 ft lower than the one I shot from.I aimed as I always do. I'm going to take my target out to my Son's and set it up in the same spot and shoot from the same stand. This is really screwing up my confidence and head .It's me not the bow!In all my years I've only missed Two deer with a gun when I hit saplings that lined up with the cross hair, and the first buck I shot at last year when I used the 30 yd pin on a 20 yd shot..I don't get buck fever and I'm sad to say so far have not gotten the Adrenalin rush that I thought I would get back when I started shooting the bow.I still have not seen that big buck and I hope if I do that shakes me up.

I just found the problem .I changed sights the day before and had a very loud noise that I thought was from the combo of the no-peep and sight. My hearing is poor after 30 years of jets and 50 of shooting.I have a cliff on one side of my house and set my Rinehart buck up.I started hearing a TEANG.I took a close look and see the whole front of the sight moves in the dovetail. It has a finger tab to tighten it.It does not work.I took it off so the hex dead screw would go all the way through and put a washer and nut on it.I tightened it with all my might.Still would not stop the movement .They drilled a hole at the rear of the slit that should allow it to move.I think there is still to much materal left and it is to stiff.I am going to file or drill out some more so it will move. This kinda pisses me off $$$$Axcel sight I am 99% sure the little buck jumped the string :oat the shot.

WOW! ... I know just what your talking about and it has happened twice before in my life. My son blew the shot because of the same thing and I wounded a deer because of the same thing. I use a zip tie to lock the handle down anymore....it works fine.
It's definitely not you by the looks of that target ;D

I can not get the noise out of the sight .I took it off and put my Cobra back on.The sight was everything I wanted BUT it was designed by an IDOT.Beside the noise you have 4 pins. They seem to be in two seperate columns BUT they are stacked one on top of each other. The manufacture is telling you how close to set your pins. I could not get then close so had to bend the pin up to get it where I needed it .I have CHEEP sights that let you move a rear pin up to get close to a front pin.I wish I could figure all this crap out before I spend the $$$. ;D

After you spend enough....you can see all the design flaws without taking it out of the package Education (a good one) is never cheap and always valuable.
