I was thinking the other day ( I know, it dont happen too often, no one get excited), and thought that most of us only know each other by our screen names, or the threads we post. I propose that we change that at least a little bit. If ya got a picture of yourself, post it here so we can all get a gander at ya. Dont hafta be a hunting picture, just any ole pic will do....but we do prefer you have clothes on...this isn't THAT type of site Also, I think we have done this before, but I cant seem to find it, and it was a while ago anyways. Tell us a little bit about yourself: 1.What is your name? 2.How old are you? 3.Where are you from? 4What do you do for a living? 5.Are you married/single? 6.What is your favorite animal to hunt and why? If you dont feel comfortable giving any of the info above, thats fine, just leave it out. Anyways, someone has to start, so here goes: 1.My name is John 2.I am 24 years old 3.I am from Ohio 4.I am a Corrections Officer in a Medium Security prison for adult male felony offenders. 5.I am divorced 6.My favorite animal to hunt is ducks. There is nothing like seeing a sunrise over a duck blind and having a hundred or so birds funneling into your decoy spread like a living tornado. I get goose bumps just thinking about it. And this is me.whos next?

Names Ted 41 and I hail from Detroit MI. I have a beautiful wife(Rita) and two great sons(Jeffrey and David). I am currently a Sign Technician but am a licensed HVAC Technician. Unfortunately, I went through a temporary career change out of necessity. But I'll be back doing the HVAC stuff soon enough. I live to bowhunt deer. That is what gets me up in the morning to go to work. But I not only hunt other animals, I am a passionate fisherman as well. What else could ya be growing up in a state such as MI. Here's a pic of me and my family!!

My name is Rodger Peck, AKA, Lockmaster I'm originally from the state of Pennsylvania, about 30 miles from the "wilderness" where we will be for the spring hog hunt in April 2007. Now from Virginia. I'm a former city police officer, from many years ago, (early to late 70's) I'm a veteran of the US Army where I was discharged a Master Sergeant, a Viet Nam veteran and for the past 33 years, I have been a locksmith (hence the handle on here) and have been classified as a Master Locksmith since 1984. Now you can see where I got my "handle" here. I'm currently unmarried, but have a very wonderful woman in my life who encourages my hunting and fishing and joins in on some of my "scouting" excursions even though she don't hunt, and gets excited over my stories and my trail cam pics.....and to top it all, she loves me a LOT!! Now what more could a man want!! I'm 62 years old, have hunted since 1957, taking my first deer in 1957 with a Marlin 30-30, taking up the bow about 18 years ago. I can't remember how many deer I have taken over the years but they have all been a thrill. I have hunted every kind of game available in my area and a lot of varmits. Kris (BT) got me hooked on hog hunting and for now, as with him, that is a true passion of mine. I love hunting them with "BT"....I shoot em' and they get mad at him!!! ;D I still get around pretty good and will be in the woods and fields every year when hunting season rolls around as long as I can still get around on my own. Then I'll read all the stories of the younger guys about their exciting hunts. As of right now, I'm hyped up over the upcoming spring boar hunt with some of you and once again I'm anxious for the next bow hunting season here in October.

My name is Greg. I am from Westchester NY and work as a high school custodian. As of now I am single. Most of you are familiar with my passion for hunting deer. I have a real hunger to hunt any other game i can, but deer hunting is my life. I am a big fan of guns and own dozens but I prefer to hunt almost everything with a bow. I do however love long range rifle shooting. On top of hunting I love just being outside, whether it be relaxing on the LI sound, fishing for blues or working streams for trout. Shed hunting and scouting also take up a large amount of my time. I am lucky enough to work from 2pm-10pm, which gives me plenty of time to do all of these things.

My name is Jen, I'm 36 years old, married to John (Tedicast) almost 8 years and we live in CT. We have no kids.... yet! I am a nanny and I love it. I don't hunt but have my license, I'm only waiting for hunting season to be moved to a warmer season!! I just recently started with archery and love it. Maybe in a few years if I can figure out the yardage thing I will try to bow hunt, we'll see. My dad and my grandfather used to take me fishing when I was a kid and it was lot's of fun. Since I don't have a hunting pic to post here is the blue fish I caught a few years ago (John made me get it in the boat all by myself , wasn't easy).

Sam from Murfreesboro, TN. I have lived here all of my life and I am a jack of all trades and master of none(except BS). At the current time, I am a gas station attendant. I was a sign technician for 4 years and maybe going back to that, if the company expands as the owner is hoping. My real passion is fishing, but hunting is almost as fun. Deer are my favorite animal to hunt, but turkeys are coming in a very close 2nd(this will be my 3rd year to hunt them). I like to use all weapons with rifles being my favorite. I have only been using a bow for 2 years with this being my 3rd year. My pic below is from Jan. 19, 2007. It was about 30° when I caught it and it weighed 6lb 2oz., my biggest largemouth to date and hte biggest of this year. Just think, they only go up in size...

Hi, I'm Michael DePaolo, aka SPIKE, aka SPIKER here on the forum. I've been a heavy metal musician most of my life. I am the former lead guitarist for DEE SNIDER'S SMF's (formerly Twisted Sister). I've toured the world with numerous acts, and missed many a deer season with my dad and cousins because of it. You can say that I'm retired from the bizz, and currently work for Verizon, building the new fiber optic network. For the last 3 or 4 years all I have been doing is Steelhead, Northern pike, bass, and brown trout fishing, deer hunting, and shooting the strings off my bows. I have a large collection of firearms that have taken a back seat to my archery passion. I'm thinking of never hunting without a bow again.

My name is Marty, age 53, married to Gaila for 26 years. One daughter and two grandkids. I was born in Montana but have lived 55 miles outside of Palmer Alaska for the last 30 years. Palmer is the closest town. I have worked on the North Slope in the oilfield for the last 32 years. For the last 7 years I have been working for Schlumberger as a Directional Driller. I probably spend more time hunting moose than other animals. But I enjoy hunting anything. I have been hunting with a rifle since I was a kid but I just started hunting with a bow last year. I must say it was one of the more enjoyable hunting seasons that I have had in a long time and as a bonus I was able to take a moose with the bow. I am definitely planning on using a bow again this year. I am looking forward to this year. This is a picture of me and my daughter with a moose that she killed when she was 13.
