Haven't been posting much as I've been really busy this year.To start off I have been wanting to get in better shape for a couple years so this year I made up my own little 'Diet'/workout program and so far I've lost 55 pounds I can tell you it was actually easy to do and paid off elk season. I took my little brother on his first bow hunt for elk this year and we had a blast.Lots of close calls and miles on our boots but no elk.I think I Inspired him and my friend Tim to get into better shape as I burned them down all nine days we hunted together. One of my good hunting buddys tooks some guys out muzzleloader season and killed this 340 bull.Which is pretty big for around here. Tim and My brother in our spike camp we packed in to try and get on some elk we saw that morning....they look tired ;D My hunting buddy Bobby trying to rally the troops...they still look whipped My little brother....down for the count So we ended up not killing those elk and headed back to the house, the rest of the season was more of the same. On to rifle season, my ol lady bought a bull tag,as well as my Brother in law, and Bobby had five extended family members out with bull tags,so his and my mission was to get them into elk. Three of this family killed bulls that week, the last weekend my ol lady and Brother in law killed theirs. Not bad for public land eh? A good year but man am I whooped. Ster

Ster, Nice collection of bulls and good on ya for deciding to get in better shape. 55 lbs is something to be proud of. I think I need to do the same.
I do have a question. All you guys dont pile into that little two man tent do you? ;D ;D

;D No..... Craig we don't all pile in that tent Tim, Fred(my brother) and I packed in the day before and Tim slept under the stars in a Gore tex Bivy sack, while Fred and myself took the pup tent. That was a mistake as Fred went to bed at around 8:00 and suffers from that sleep apnea or whatever and snores terribly so I slept about ten minutes all night.Guess thats what I get for walking thier butts off to get in there.Bobby walked in the next day to help out, and with bad weather looming we headed home.
Give a shout if you decide to get serious about losing weight, I'll help as much as I can and I think I can help alot.I'm wearing pants I havent worn since highschool now and like I said it's easier that most think.
Spiker...Good to see you holding down the fort, I've actually been here to check in alot just no time to upload pics and type what I've been doing, had a free minute and this place looked slow so I thought I'd post up.This weekend is Bobbys season so after sunday I'll be done elk hunting for the year, hopefully I'll be around more.
