Ah Michi....have you ever thought about an arrow hitting the neighbors house? Looking at that pic of shooting down, an arrow could go high and ricochet off the top of the target.
I had an arrow go through the center of my foam target with a two blade head a few years back. It dropped and hit right at the back of my yard, skipped up and sailed at least 50 yards behind the house. There is a house on either side of my line of shooting and luckily it flew straight. I now set up the targets in front of the shed. I would rather put a hole in that than have an arrow get out the yard.

There was nothing behind that shot until recently. About a 20 acre open field and a garage. Nothing to be concered about. But good eye fellas. Never4 can be too safe or preach too much safety!!

O.K. The course finally filled in to where I like it so here are the Pics ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THIS IS MY WARM UP AREA AND PLEASE NOTE HOW CLEAN IT IS! YOU MUST ALWAYS HAVE A SPOTLESS AREA IN WHICH TO WARM UP ONCE WARM UP IS CONCLUDED IT'S OUT ON THE RANGE FOR A 25YRD. TURKEY AS SOON AS THE SHOT IS BLOWN ON THE TURKEY IT IS TIME TO MOVE FORWARD TO THE 25YRD. GROUNDHOG AFTER 10 MINS OR SO OF SEARCHING FOR THE ARROW WHICH MISSED THE GROUNDHOG IT'S ON TO THE 40YRD. TURKEY WITH ONE ARROW LEFT IT IS TIME TO TAKE THE 40 YRD. SHOT ON THE FOX AND THEN HEAD BACK TO THE HOUSE FOR A FULL QUIVER OF ARROWS ;D HAVING REFRESHED THE SUPPLY IT'S BACK TO A MORE REASONABLE 30YRD. RACCOON JUST IN TIME!....FINALLY SOMETHING WITH MASS! WELL 45YRDS. ISN'T SO BAD WITH MASS RIGHT? BACK TO REALITY ....NICE 25 YRD. QUARTERING SHOT THE DEATH NAIL!...35YRD. DOWNHILL THROUGH THE POCKET 50 YRD. BEDDED BUCK BUCK IMPOSSIBLE 30 YRD. BRUSH DOE 25 YRD. (LOOKS LIKE 30) VALLEY SHOT 35YRD. BEAR IN THE BRUSH & YES...YOU DO SHOOT THROUGH THIS 25YRD. QUARTERING TOO BUCK 35YRD. UPHILL BRUSH DOE 30 YRD. DOE IN THE BLOW DOWN 25YRD. DOE 35YRD. COYOTE IN THE GLEN

I love that course.......except for that stupid coyote at the end. Just when you think you made it through with all your arrows.

This is becoming a trad only course due to the targets taking a whipping over the years. I have one target that gets a pass through now and it is definitely time to get new cores. But of course the Mathews guys are o.k.
