Hey all. I just picked up a Mathews MR7 got tired of waiting on 70lbs limbs for my Elite Pulse. Anybody here any thing about these guys. I shot it a Hoyt Vector, PSE EVO and the MR7. The Heli`m just seemed like a stripped down Z7 and was really a little on the light side for me weight wise. Hence its name I guess. Draw cycle on the MR7 was smooth with no noticeable peaks. Will write more once I get it broken in.

Yes, Yes, Yes!! Pics, Pics, Pics!!! Please, and also how you like bow in general, any score changes, and so on! Anything you can brag about will work... Thanks! This the one? Nice looking bow. Tells us what arrow weight you like and the performance you get with your setup. Thanks again! mathewsinc.com/product/mr7/

SMJ, Yes sir thats the one. Right now I am shooting a 396 grain arrow which is a 27 inch 65/80 Cabela's Carbon Extreme Arrow with Blazers and a 100 grain field tip. Need to crono it but at the bow shop the pull was 69.5 at my 26.5 inch draw. Below is a pic of the setup I got. Its the 2011 Mathews MR7, Spot-Hogg Hog-it sight, Trophy Taker Smackdown FC rest. For a dual CAM bow it draws smooth. I shot a this, the Hoyt Vector 32, the Mathews Heli'm and a PSE Dream Season EVO. It came down to the MR7 or the Vector 32. The Hoyt had a slight peak at the end of the draw cycle so I went with the MR7. I got the sight on Friday mounted it up and started to fling some arrows. In a few minutes the 20 Yard groupings where consistently like the bottom picture. I still need to walk back tune it but so far I am very happy with the bow. One thing to note is that the MR 7 is slightly heavier than the Elites I have been shooting for the last few years. Also I have changed my anchor slightly by anchoring a little lower than I have in the past. I did this because historically I had been getting close to running out of left right adjustment on the sight.

I am going to show my ability to not keep up with technology with this question. first off very nice set up and nice shooting.
But there is an item fastend to the riser above the sight that I have no idea what it is. Can you tell me what that thing is and what it is for? Very interesting looking but not a clue in my head. LOL I may need one and don't even know it.
