It's been a while since I've been in. My second little girl was born Oct 22nd so hunting was limited for me this year so I tried to stay close to home and get a big buck that was in my back yard. Neighbors moved in and he changed his appearances to night only. There's lots of videos and pictures of him on my site. He's still around so maybe next year. I hunting previously with an Excalibur equinox but sold it and got a Oneida Exteme Eagle that's a blast to shoot. I loved the power of the Excalibur and it was a hunting xbow, but it wasn't a fun bow for me to just shoot in the back yard. The Extreme Eagle is 70#'s and feels like it's less than 40#'s to me. Really smooth shooter.

Thanks!! It's a 2006 lever bow made by Oneida. It's not a speed demon like new bows today, but the smoothness and ease of shooting makes up for it. At 29" draw and 70#'s I might be shooting close to 280fps with a 400 grain arrow. The cams have been pretty much unchanged for 20 years. There's a new level limb bow in the works by another company (5150bows) with a better cam design that should really speed up these bows.

There have been a couple of bows released since then. Expensive and no changes or improvements to the cams unfortunately. Just lighter bows with the same old tech and more $$$$$. When I say smooth pulling I mean smooth pulling. There's no hump. People love these bows for fishing due to being able to snap shoot. It's like hunting with a recurve bow with the let off of a compound. Well it is a compound. I think it looks cool too. Reminds me of a Mongolian bow when drawn back. This is when I first got it. Not the best form, but I'm standing on a slope. I eventually put a nopeep on and LOVEEE it!!!
