I'm gonna build an archery work shop in the next few weeks. I was wondering what everyone reccomends to get for it.
I am gonna get a Blitz for fletching. I have a small bag target and a 10yd range. I have a grain scale. I am holding on a press for right now and am gonna see if i can get one like my bow shop has at a decent cost. i may even put one of the large range BLOCKs in for blank baling.
what kind of chrono should I get and what kind of bow scale....I need one that will go 100#'s
anyone have any pics of their home workshops?

Don't forget the draw weight scale, arrow saw, G5 ASD, bow vice, center shot gauge, loop material, etc...

I just started putting mine together. I am starting to learn all I can so I can work on my own bows with confidence. Greg you know way more than I do about bows but I thought I would share what I have purchased so far. I took a corner of my garage and it is now for me to work on my bows. The work bench is made of some extra doors left over from a job and a kitchen cabinet I couldn't,t use but found a use for it now. I want to thank BT and SPIKER for their input on what I should purchase for working on my bows. For anyone interested here is what I purchased along with the prices and were I purchased them from. SPORTSMAN'S GUIDE $17.97 Digital scale $89.97 Weston 8000rpm arrow saw Cabela's $89.99 Ratchet-lok bow press $69.88 Cobra bow vise $39.99 JOJAN mono-flecher $30.99 Bohning all in one serving kit $17.99 R.S. nok-ez-snap on string level combo $14.99 Compact bow tunning kit $12.99 Paradox string loop 15' I hope this helps and if anyone has anymore suggestions on what would be beneficial to have please don't hesitate to post your opinions . Here are some pics of what I have done so far.

Great ideas guys. Logan made a pottery studio in the back room of the basement with a pottery wheel for her and her sisters to use, so she said why don't I set up an archery work area in the front room. I'm pretty stoked. I have a great counter top my buddy gave me a few years back. it's heavy and solid from a kitchen and about 3' wide by 9' long or so. I'm gonna make a heavu duty frame for it.
The mech at my local bow shop offered to let me come in on sundays(when they are closed), when he does a lot of work on bows. He will teach me what I nee dto know. He REALLY knows his stuff and right now he's the only guy I let work on my bow, everything has to be 100% perfect before it goes out the door.

The tool I use most is a lighted magnifying glass. The second is allen wrenchs. A press is a must. Most everything else is information.

I guess the 3 more things (or 4) I would like to see would be: -stick on metal tape measure on the bench (or a replacement tape nailed down) with a nail at one end for measuring string and cables. -magnetic parts tray for those tiny little screws -16 tray hang up organizers from Lowe's for fletch, inserts, etc. -bow scale hung from ceiling on a stout eye-bolt. - you can make string seperators that work better than the c-jig of bohning's by using (4) 4" chunks of arrow shaft glued together with superglue to make two string separators. Put (8) nocks in the ends. the beauty of these is that you can move them any where on the string/cables. -set of quality snap-on allen wrench's (actually ain't to much$) - the last thing you want to do is strip out. was that 3? ooops
