Get yo'seff over to Michael's craft store(should be a national chain). For $2.50 you can buy a small tub of Tacky Wax put out by an outfit called Yaley. You'll find this stuff with candle making supplies. I tell you, it is STICKY, does NOT come off the string easily at all, waterproofs like mad, and works in easily with any string. It comes in a yellow tub---and is UNSCENTED. The blister pack stated in some cases it is used as a :oglue, but that's fine...I have been using it for some time now, and have tossed all other string wax for this one. It da bomb!
