[blue]Just bringing this up on a sticky so that we can keep track of what is going on and who to contact as it progresses.[/blue]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back in June the idea was kicked around about a team hog hunt at one of the preserves I had reviewed awhile back.
At the time we had something like 24 people that wanted in so here it is again.
We are looking to get serious sign ups with plenty of time to stash the dough for the outing.
The date would be between April and May....what ever works for everyone within those two months
Here is a Link to the Lodge

I was very impressed by every aspect for this northeast preserve.
Most Preserves in the north are small due to the burden of land taxes but this one offered terrain that made up for its size of 300 acres.
Trust me .... My legs hurt for a week afterwords and I only got one shot off while using my recurve.
It was truly a challenging hunt!
It is about as far for a NY'er to drive as it is for someone from Michigan ( Michihunter told me )....about 4 1/2 hrs. for both.
There are two strains there which are European and Russian.
The Russians run $100. more but the Europeans run 100# heavier at times.
A Russian will net you about $2.00 a pound average after it is boned out.
Lodging is $25 a day with lunch and breakfast.
If we have 20 or more they will do a pig Roast with all the trimming on the night of our arrival.
Anyway....
Post on here if you just want to ask questions first or if you already know that you will be coming.
We really don't want anymore than 24 IMO so lets see how it goes here
By the way....
There is a separate Master Bedroom downstairs for someone who's wife wants to come while maintaining her privacy.
There is also a second lodge if there were a few couples and I am sure that Andy could easily arrange comfortable lodging there as well.
Lastly....
When you look at the site lodge Pics....The Lodge is way nicer than it looks in the photo's.
( which already look outstanding to me )
