That's right, tomorrow is the day....got my decoys fluffed and ready, got some 100gr Spitfires, and a Turbo for longer range....got the bow sighted in , rangfinder...check!  Camo, stand, pan call, mouth calls...did I forget anything...oh yeah, have to get out there tonight and see if I can put any gobblers to bed, that will make it easy to find them in the morning!  Come on boys , this is it, let's get em, and get em good...good luck to everyone...let the games begin!!!!  |

Foiled!!! I knew it!.......year after year......where the heck do they go? South?  All the factors were in play... Rooster crowing...nothing! Crows cawing......nothing! Decoys looking delectable...nothing! Talked the talk all morning...nothing! Spring is a a hard time to hunt due to the fact that you can only hunt from a 1/2 hour before dawn, to noon. It takes the after work hunt out of play, essentially taking the during the week hunt out of play, so it looks like Sat. is my next opportunity.....except...I think that the wife made plans last night....doh!  |

i couldn't get out today spiker cause i got called into work this morning and didn't get home until 3 am wasn't until 4:30 before i fell out,,, so i have to wait until sat.
good on you that you got out!!
