I am packing it in with the Mustang turkey. I haven't seen or heard a thing .Andy my neighbor has a blind and got two on Monday. He got a nice tom and a bearded hen.He uses a Xbow with slicktricks. The tom went right down and the hen went 70 yds.I could see right off the bat I would have little or no chance to draw a bow with one in range .I ended up looking for deer sign and makeing estimates on distance then paceing it off to see how close I was.Not that easy to get the distance all the time.I will keep at it but will have surveyors tape set when I set up my tree stands.I'll see if I can borrow his blind next week.Still want to see if I can wack one with my 85gr.wac'ums

No doubt. I got my first bowturkey this year because of the groundblind. I've been busted drawing on them every year except this one. I was able to take aim with patience, and got a good solid release on him. I'll be looking into a two man blind for next year...

I was bummed out when I found the ground blind I use for gun season was too small for me to use bowhunting . I have seen birds the times I have gone out, but have yet to draw on one. Right now all my play money is tied up in the upcoming hog hunt, so no new blind for me.
