Went fishing with Son and four year old grandson last weekend. We were just letting him catch bluegills. My son was down in the weeds washing his hands after removing a hook.I was watching him from a little bridge and he looked up at me and said "you wouldn't be doing this down South ;D I have never seen a poisonous snake in CT but have heard of copperheads in a Rockey area in one town.

We do have rattlesnakes where I live. However, they're rare and confined to the marshes and islands of Lake Erie. Southeast Ohio you might find the occasional eastern timber rattler and copperhead.

Where my mom and dad live is at the foot of what is called copperhead hill. Snakes are like stray dogs and cats around here. LOL!!!

Those skins would make great backings for a long bow or recurve.
