Went out yesterday and froze my rear off.Had a turkey at 12 yards but I coulden't see a beard.By the time I figured out it was a small Jake it was getting worried and moved on. 20 min later I saw a dark spot at 80 yards that was moving away to my left. After a few min. I heard a gobble than I heard the turkey going to tree.As I watched him fly I knew somthing was not rite.I saw a long brown thing in the other field and first thought deer bit after a good look I could see it was a big dog coyote.I started calling him and could see him running to the rear of my blind.I watched as he ran behind a stone wall and came to a stop 40 yards to my left.I had 3 hen decoys and a big new tom that looks real.It was blowing his mind looking at them and he even sat down to look.He being no pup knew somthing was up and took off.I saw a hen and two longbeards but never came with in 75 yards. Went out this morning to anouther spot and never heard a gobble.About 8:00 a Jake came out of no wear and I hit him at 20 yards.I hit him just right and he went down with the arrow in him. After a few seconds he jumped and flopped 15 feet and was done. When I picked him up the arrow was out. At first I thought I only had 3 inches of penetration. The Spitfire was closed with a glob of turkey on the B/H.When I got him home I could see the arrow hit just rite and cut the hart and broke the leg or pelvis.

Nice! I hope to be so fortunate two Saturdays from now. I will be headed to Kansas to try my luck for 3 days. Nice bird, nice pic!
