I have bene to busy to hunt.Family things,house work.Sunday
I was helping a friend in his woods with my backhoe.I backed
over a 4 inch stump and hit the hydraulic filter and bent it up
crushing it and tearing a line.It burst into flames and I thought
this is it!!!I shut it down and the 3 foot flame stoped but it
was still burning in side the engine compartment.We through
dirt and mud the best we could and got it out.Needed fresh undies
that night.It took two days to get it out of the wet lands

.I had a few sleepless nights.Any way
I needed to bring the turkey season to an end so dug out the
old shotgun and went out thismorning.After three hours in the
blind I decided to walk.I was not dressed for hunting on foot
but thought I would try.I herd a gobble and sat behind a big
pine tree.It took over an hour to get them to get close enough
and I shot the second I saw heads.It's hard to hide with white
hair and beard plus white socks.I knew they would bust me so
I wacked one at 38 yards and his buddy at 41.Now back to
splitting wood,painting and food plots.Guys were busting my stones about my pink chair ;D
