Wow skip, he took it like a champ didnt he. How much did that pig tip the scales at??? I am trying hard to get the misses talked into letting me go on the team hunt. She already knew about one hog hunt but the second was hard. I may still have it in me. She will be big and ready to bust by then. We will see. I wish I was alot closer to you all. We have to meet up sometime.

That Hog wasn't half done when this clip ended bambikiller. This was the coldest day....snow in the air and nasty, Those pigs were just stiff with it as you could see in the clip.....few quick steps and then a slow walk away. Considering those conditions....that hog was plenty tough!

We have to meet up sometime. That pig just walked it off and you can see the blood pouring out of it! He lasted about another 5 minutes, I was able to walk up and put another arrow into him, just to kill him quicker. He weighed around 600#'s. It was 20 degrees that day and snowing on and off!

Wow, if you look closely in the video, you can see the shaft/broadhead hanging out of the far side of the boar and bouncing off the ground as the boar walks.

Yup, the back of the fletchings held the arrow in the hide on the offside. That was a 17yd shot at a 600# pig with a 49# longbow.....you'll have no problems with your rig. Russians are smaller too.
