www.bigboarlodgeny.com/This years Team hunt will be in Homer NY where I first visited last year. This is a quality hunt and hunting area. So good in fact that we nearly went home hog-less This year we are looking at July because on last years outing we encountered bare ground and temperatures that made the animals lethargic to say the least.
I have generally done my hunts during the summer and should have stuck to that tried and true method as was obvious in hind sight None the less....we had a great time and this year can only be better. Why am I sticking this up here now? Basically.....this isn't something you spring on someone
This is a Friday arrival and Sunday departure. You can show up Saturday morning at the latest and leave Saturday night if need be but I am hoping that everyone will make a weekend of it and take the time to relax , B.S. and have some fun. Definitely a hog rib BBQ Saturday night
So .... below are some reviews of this place and if there are any questions , fire away. I know that many will not be able to make it but for those who can .... please consider it This isn't just about trying to slam some pork for the freezer. It's more about getting together with old friends and making new ones. I honestly cant think of any site where I would offer an open invitation to any member for a weekend hunt ....but this site's members are the exception to that rule.
Look forward to seeing some new interested people asking questions Even if you dont plan on coming or cant come....if you want to know about this annual get together then speak up INDEPENDANT REVIEWS BELOWwww.huntingreport.com/mass_report_details.cfm?hnt_stat=New%20York&RequestTimeout=1000www.huntinfo.com/reviews/outfitter_reviews.php3?Action=Read&areview=1137167716www.keystonearchery.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2061

I'm in!
BT, Rayzortech and I hunted this place in August and it was an amazing hunt. And yes, it was truly a hunt. we went 3 hours before seeing the first hog and there were many hogs on the property. It was a balst. I hope to see as many of you there as possible!

Remember when we were sitting on the ridge at noon talking between ourselves?. Remember how we were saying that there weren't any damn hogs in that place? ;D It was 3 hours before we saw a hog and then what?....maybe another 2-3 before I saw mine?. Mine was total luck anyhow

Not sure of the weekend, but since it is a preserve, no licence is required

I would love to make it up from TX. to meet all you folks Also, how much is a NY temp hunting license We will have to see what happens with the 4th of July Alot of people have plans for that date typically but if it isn't going to interrupt or keep anyone from making it then that would work I believe
