You won't believe what I shot!

Spanish Goat. I saw 3 of these in the woods about 2 months ago. At the time, I didn't know if they were legal game so I kept the arrows in the quiver. Since then I called the Florida Wildlife Commission. Talked to the Lt. that serves my area and he said "shoot away"....feral game has no closed season. I went to check a stand today and ran into them again...grabbed my bow out of the truck and the game was on. Any, Magnus Stinger 4 blade. Taxidermist said it was a really fine specimen.

If you can find someone who cooks truly authentic Mexican food, you'd be in business. It is cooked quite regularly where I grew up (SW KS) and a little bit up where I am now (NE KS). Not saying you can't cook it like venison if you were going to eat it, but I've tasted some great scrub goat here made by the Mexican immigrant families living back home.

The taxidermist was going to donate it to someone...after smelling this thing, I don't think I could eat it. We are talkin' RANK! I think he might have been rutted up to boot.

Thanks, guys. No idea what's going on. I've talked to folks who have hunted their whole lives here and not seen any. I looked them up online when I saw them the first time so I knew these were some especially big ones. Of course, Ol' Red picked out the best, but there are 2 more that come very close to this one.

Kris...you crack me up with that Super hero stuff. Only thing I was after dragging this Billy out was Super Smelly.
