I'm with you. I will not be shooting at the shoulder. And your right about the carrying of such a large animal. In 2005 I shot a very large bull, [55"] Me, my brother, my father, and my two sons, had it back in camp in 4hrs. without a ATV, but there was alot of sweat.

You have been there  Yup....I wouldn't shoot at a shoulder either but the fact of the matter is that a head can plane off....even a good head....for one reason of the other. Since we are shooting against the shoulder, it's always a consideration worth mention. Where are you going anyway? |
