Monday I was going to remove my W/B and put my Ripcord on the new bow.The cord had been cut on the old bow with a 6in.+ brace. The new bow over 7in. To make a long story short I screwed up and still have not found all of the parts to the foot ball.I called Ripcord and asked if I can get parts. They said yes.I ordered a football new cord and I asked if I could get the new launcher,it has moleskin built in.I think he said it was 8 or 9 bucks.Package came today USPS first class.New launcher, new football and two new cords. The total was $8.00 .Also two pages of instructions on installing the new cord.It is also on u-tube.I am very impressed and have never had any problem with my Ripcord and it has seen a lot of use

A few things to watch for with that rest. The 1st thing is that when it's damp out, the arrow squeaks as the bow is drawn across the launcher with moleskin on it. I have those new launchers as well, and they squeak even with the moleskin. I've lost a deer to that squeak. The only thing that prevents it is electrical tape. It has something to do with the demesion of the launcher forks. The second is that it lets down when you do. I guess you know that already, but after the WB you can forget little things like that. Anyway, good luck with it, I have two of them on my Hoyts, and they are pretty solid.

I have them on 2 of my bows. I've never had a squeak from them but I don't have any mole skin or anything on them. i just leave the plastic exposed

I noticed a squeek in mine when it was new, but there is none now, I think they kinda need to 'wear in' so to speak. Ster

I noticed a squeek in mine when it was new, but there is none now, I think they kinda need to 'wear in' so to speak. Ster The new launcher (code red) has a rubberized base, with a red piece of moleskin. It only squeaks early in the morning, when it's silent, damp, and a deer is in front of you. Happened to me twice, with two different launchers. Greg is right though, if you use the plain plastic one without skin, it will not squeak. But, you will hear the arrow sliding across the rest. Not a big deal if you are 30 feet up. I'll be putting my two in the classifieds as soon as I save the money to replace them with Qads.

I took the Ripcord off my bow. When it was tuned the forks slapped on the arrow shelf so hard it would knock itself out of alignment, not to mention the noise it made. the shop set it up when I bought the bow and I dried to adjust it a couple times but square is square and where it lined up it made the slap. I tried foam, moleskin and a rubber pad but nothing helped.
Just a warning, hope you have better luck than I did. I switched to the FC Trophy Taker and am happy as a clam.
