Thats going to be a fun one for sure, I like those old Bears. Some rattler skins would look sweet on it. Agreed...although I am most partial to Copperhead.

I'm with you Red. I like the CopperHead. I'll see if I can round a few up this summer if you like. I usually run across one or two really nice ones during the summer. If I come across some I'll be sure to shoot you a PM.
If you have time I am interested in the process you follow to refinish a bow.

I am not doing the refinishing myself. Found a guy that was highly recommended on Tradgang.com. His link is somewhere in the replies. I'll be sure and post some "after" pics for you. Best to ya.

I've seen Droptines name a few times and Bowdoc is another good one to do a refinish job.

I've seen Droptines name a few times and Bowdoc is another good one to do a refinish job. Also saw Bowdoc's name mentioned. Droptine just happened to be running a good special now. This one won't be as much of a challenge of some he's done...it was already in pretty good shape. The proof will be in the "after" pics.

Thanks Red, I was walking by my old Bear recurve every day and thinking I need to get it out, tonight I did! I need a whole lot of work to get myself up to shooting it again, but now I will put in the effort.
