Hello....I have never posted here before. I am Darrell, the owner of the bow and I just thought I'd say a few words. This bow is my favorite bow and is the fastest hardest hitting bow I have ever shot. I did not know how fast it was until Steve told me how fast it chronoed yesterday. This is the first animal I have taken with the bow and was a little concerned as to how well it would perform on hogs especially shooting an arrow under 500gr. Actually I was more worried about the arrow weight than the bows performance. All I can say is WOW! The first arrow complete pass through and the second arrow, a moving shot buried to the nock going through both shoulder plates. A friend of Steves and mine sent me the Steel Force heads to use on the hunt. In a hurry trying to get the second shot off I mistakingly grabbed an arrow with a two blade Magnus head instead of another Steel Force head. Both heads cut right through the hog and no damage to either head. I can't wait for deer season now. If this bow will have pass through shots on a hog I don't think deer will be a problem. I hope this bow will last the rest of my life because I can't imagine not taking it to the woods with me. Thanks Steve for making an awesome bow.

Hi Darrell - Welcome to the site, I hope you find it both entertaining and informative! Congratulations on a fine hog, and that bow is just plain sick! I think Steve makes about the coolest stick bow I have ever seen. That elk-horn riser is just off the scale! Then add to that all the little extras he puts together - they may look pretty but they were born to hunt!!! I am happy for your success, and wish you many more in the future. Again, welcome to the threads!

Thanks for the welcome. Your right......Steves bows are made to hunt. Mine is going in the woods with me whenever I go. My bow is definitly not a wall hanger I told Steve it wouldn't be when he made it for me. It is eye candy but that is just a plus the real beauty is how it shoots.......fast (203ft per sec.) and hard. I couldn't ask for a better bow. My bow buying days are over. I'm gonna get Steve to build me an extra set of limbs for this bow and that should take care of it for a long long time.

Hello....I have never posted here before. I am Darrell, the owner of the bow Welcome and thanks for those Pictures It good to hear from a hunter as to what he likes about the bow or heads he or she shoots. That chrono speed with that 500gr. shaft is super!. I know I am gonna get myself in trouble looking at these bows much longer ;D

Thanks Darrell, and I appreciate the Kudos, but it's more than the bow, the bow is only a tool, and as with any tool it is the user that determines whether it is successfull or not, I have often wondered the penetration potential of my bows in a hunting situation, as I myself have not had the good fortune to connect yet on anything bigger than a frog or squirrell, matter of fact , you are the first to get anything big, congratulations!, you did your part, the bow did it's, and now I know that my bows posess the ability to make quick, clean, humane kills as I hoped they would, in testing they showed very nice penetration and manners, I am so glad that those properties have transferred to the woods in such a competent hand, Thanks for settling that question for me and I'll be sending you something really special!....Great Job!!,Steve
