Just got word that Darrell the owner of this bow: Shot a 300# hog with it today, got a total quartering away pass through with 55@27, 480gr.gold tip with a steel force serrated head, at 20 yds. entering behind the last rib, and exiting just in front of the shoulder, it ran, Darrell got another shot off, this time hitting it in the shoulder plate, exiting out the other plate, burying the arrow to the nock....... and did this at a gathering where they were doing a story on this hunt for a bowhunting mag. he also told me that everyone present shot the bow and were totally enamored by it, how cool is that!!!, Congrats Darrell!!!!........ pics will be here soon as he sends them!

Well all right! Congratulations to him, and you too!
That magazine comes out... I'd think it might just help those sales a bit!

Yes HB, it sure is!, This is the first "Big game" animal taken with one of my bows, It was my fear when I started building these that they would end up on walls and shoots, but never taken in the woods as I intended them to be, I only know of four that are religiously taken to the hunt, Here's the result of the first shot I made out of my friend Vic's bow when I finished it, from 30 yds...... these bows are made for hunting first, and eye candy second, no matter how good a bow looks, if it can't shoot, it isn't worth a dime!

Yep, I was thinkin the same thing!!, but whatever happens smj, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to pursue this dream of ours, Hopefully it will result in some Elk steaks, but if not, it will still be a success in my book, the dream is in the doing, not in the ending.....Thanks my friend,Steve

awwww............... you stuck that poor froggy to test the bow ;D ;D They really are beautiful which is what makes people think they are eye candy first. I had the same problem with my quivers and bags. Everyone would say, oh I would be afraid to wreck it. So I started making sure that every purchaser knew in the first place that I take every one of them out and put them to use in the field before I ship them , I just took Doc hollidays quiver out on my back last weekend for an afternoon rabbit hunt with my sons. If you dont test them , you cant attest to and guarantee their sturdyness The muzzleloader bags I make , have been used at the range to shoot a round of league before they go out, that way I know the stitching is good, and they stay where they are supposed to .
