I have moved away from the Carbon Express shafts (sadly) because of the excessive price. I wouldn't have moved away despite the price, if there was not an equal alternative to them. The Victory arrows that I have been using are of equal performance IMO. What I will say is a plus are the inserts. I like these inserts much better!. The Nocks that come with them have to be filed out (like everything anymore) bit they are solid and easy to manipulate. I have had plenty of very hard strikes with these shafts during the time I have been shooting them (2 years) and I have not had one split or shatter. This is very important in testing (which I have been doing on the side) and so far so good I would strongly suggest looking at these shafts if you are a bowhunter with the need for speed.

Total agreement. I am currently hunting with Victory Vforce HV1's in 300 spine. These arrows were within .5 grs and they are very consistent in spine. I have them fletched with Vanetec 2" HP's and they shoot great with a NAP Nightmare leading the way.
I also have some of the Victory VAP's that I use for Field and FITA. Compared to my Carbon Express Nano XR's, I would give the VAP'S the nod. They are slighty larger in diameter and seem to catch a few more lines. They also are less than half the cost of the Nano XR's.
I have been eyeballing the Black Eagle arrows and may give them a try. They are also very light.
