Last Thursday was sunny, very little wind, and in the low 60s so it was a good afternoon to sit. About 5:00 PM a couple of deer came down into the creek bottom I was hunting. At 15 yards I shot the lead deer. The arrow cut through both lungs and the pulmonary aorta. The deer tried to run up out of the creek bottom but only made it up about one third of the slop and ran out of energy (blood). It stopped and shortly thereafter fell over dead. This made for a short remover and an easy trip home. Ghost
