Hey Red, I was actually watching that bow! It's a real Beaut!! I just can't afford such things sadly. Glad to hear we have another traditionalist among us. Go get 'em......  So, I sold a rifle to pay the tab. I don't regret it for a minute. ???Funny....I was thinking on doing exactly THAT at some point.   We'll see.... |

That is a nice bow for sure! I like the material choices, and really like the additions to the basic bow: the arrow on the limbs, the nocks, leather wrap - that is a great looking bow! With yours, I have another bow in process as I wanted to have a couple for going through the tillering process - I will have 3 to choose from, yours being one of them. (Different things show up with different bows...) Since tillering seems to be the part that everyone worries over, I want to make sure I cover it well in the build info. It is coming though, honest! ...I am almost on overload.  My Elite Fire should also be on the way in about a week. Strings from Crackers are in transit to the dealer (that was the final hold-up). It seems like Christmas in March.  stevej...glad to hear you approve of the bow and that I didn't make a mistake. Had to sacrifice a nice Winchester Featherweight to get her. I really want to spend most of the rest of my hunting time with archery gear...gun hunting just can't come close to eliciting the same feelings of pure enjoyment or accomplishment. |

We'll see.... Hey easternhunter...if you find something really special, I think it is well worth it. There was a beautiful Toelke Whip that was listed just after I bought my JD that had my mouth watering. I might have to own one of those some fine day. Also have a yen for those Morrison bows and those Schafer Silvertips.........you get the idea..... ;D |
