What happens if you leave it strung?

It can take a set or twist if there is a big swing in relative humidity. I remember years ago when my father threw a bear Kodiak on the table after a day out in the rain. In the morning the bow was laying on the floor with the string half way down the limb and the bow ruined. I dont know what the heck happened but I dont want to relive his problem

Have you shot a stick bow recently? ..... are you looking to shoot targets only or maybe even hunt with this stick?
