I use good ol soap and water to remove dirt and grime then if I want it glossy or back to glossy I use a product called "Speedy Metal Polish".....I've used this stuff for the past 15 years on show cars and many other things, it makes paint look so deep that it looks wet, and metal shine like never before, it works great on bows too.......

I'll have to try the Speedy Metal Polish... I just use a good paste wax for hardwood floors. There are several, apply two or three thin coats. As to the cleaning, soap and water. Usually just a damp towel works well, not a lot of water... Don't put the bow in the sink !
