Well , I am able to report that the Bear is working fine The Silver flame saved me from a bad shot and the Bear took one on the button. A very hard shot on the second Doe but I was able to thread the needle with only a weeks worth of practice with the Super Mag

Although the Bear shoots well , I am having an awful painful issue that has come about since I have been shooting it The elbow is far more tender than it has ever been and due to that fact I cant hunt in the early morning I have to shoot for perhaps a half an hour in order to draw smoothly....working through the stiffness for the first 30 shots or so. Also there is a entirely new area of concern that has shown up My thumb It seems that the two tendons that run either side of the thumb and come back into the wrist , are pulled or something. This is like an electrical shock when I anchor (at times) and when I am just typing , it is a dull pain that encapsulates the joint which makes up the rear knuckle. God is this disturbing Any idea's? .....

The pain you describe sounds alot like a sprained thumb to me, as I've had that happen and it's painful for quite a few days. I did it foolin' around with the dog( just horsin' around) nothin' funny

Well , tonight was pretty cool because I was up in the stand with my oldest son. Right at 4:40 a Doe walks out at 15 yards ...broadside! I ended up shaving her chest hairs and thankfully got no blood All those years of aiming off the rest came back and unfortunately I was shooting off the shelf Ah well .... I didn't need her anyway and it was just good to spend a few hours in the stand with my son
