Looks good. nice job get'n the 12yr old started early, my two sons have been going moose/bear hunting with me since they were 11 and 12.

Nice gear. Enjoy. Though at approximately $14 per 'robin hood', you'll soon learn NOT to shoot for groups. I shoot three, make my own arrows and strings, and do my own maintenance. Great hobby. And the hunting is close and personal. At near 70 and several compromised body parts I've long been unable to pull a vert. Crossbows have gotten me back in the game. So much fun to shoot and mess with that I'da done it much sooner had I known.

Anyway, sounds like you are a real expert in the crossbow area...I may have some questions for you along the way. I can't understand folks being critical of crossbows given it allows many to extend their hunting careers (but you know 20 and 30 somethings...they think they will never grow older). I still compound and longbow hunt, but I just turned 51 and know that in the future I am going to be glad that I learned about crossbows.
