This is a winner. I was just messing around with some different ingredients, and threw this together. It is fabulous. I mixed equal parts Worcestershire, Soy Sauce, and Brown Sugar in a small bowl. Maybe a full cup, or less all together. I added that to the crock pot with 3 containers of Delmonte Fruit Naturals Pineapple...juice, and all. Place a venison roast into the crock pot, and add chicken broth to almost cover it. Cook on low for 10 hours. Then, place the whole pot, after cooling down, into the fridge overnight. The next day, remove, and slice the roast into thick slices. I made a roux with equal parts butter, and flour, in a large pan, then added the juice until it was a gravy like consistency. Then add the venison, and Pineapples, and heat until hot. Then fork pull the venison, and wow.

I just served this over mashed potatoes to the family. They loved it. Thanks, Spiker.

Great picture of the procedure. This really does look good. A bit long on the prep of the meat but I imagine it is worth it. Might try this come Christmas time with the folks

I made this recently using a real pineapple, and it was terrible!
Something about the juice the Delmonte is packed in I imagine.

Thanks for the heads up. I just might have tried that real pineapple if I saw it in the store. Keep them coming Chief!
