I haven't saw anyone here post on them ! I am gonna getstid me one of'em. They have 2 models with the 3rd due out in April i think. RDT100 is 100 lb shooting 350 gr arrow at 330 fps. The RDT125 is 125 lb & shoots 350 gr arrow at 370 fps. The new RDT165 is 165 lb & will shoot a 350 gr arrow at 460 fps. Durn ought to be arrows being scorched with the 165 lb model.

The chronograph was an Archery Chrony F1, I made 4 arrows with the intent to clock 3 of them. They were Lazer IIs, aluninum insert and plastic half moon nock. With a 125 gr tip total weight was (1)349, (2)348 and (3)351. I used 2" Fusion vanes and shot about 3.5' from the chrony. arrow 1) 384, 383, 381, 382 2) 382, 381, 383, 381 3) 384, 382, 384, 381
Lazer II with a brass insert, filed rear nock and blazers. It weighed in at 440 gr with a 100 gr tip. Speeds were 344, 343, 345, 343. I found this on another site, appears the RDT125 is actually faster than the company says it is.

There is no doubt that the Scorpyd is a smoking fast crossbow. It just looks wrong. ;D

I actually held & drooled all over Boo's RDT125. It was fast, easy to cock & actually quiet compared to my Excals. Speck we all look at things & say ick or laff. My 1st impression was i thought it was like a Bat & was going to fly out of the shop. After studing it from diff angles with stock folded unfolded it grew on my quickly. It was very comfortable to hold even tho with the scope & all over 10 lbs. I like it & its my next CB.

I agree with Bob, it just does not look "right" for a crossbow. ;D
