O.K....It's that time of year again .... where we are all setting around with very little to do  Lets see some chrono action here  Rules state that you have to... #1: show the chrono speed (picture) #2: show arrow weight #3: list bow draw length #4: list bow draw weight #5: show a picture of the bow Lets see the best  |

damn, the King Cobra is back in Canada getting dipped.  I'll have to wait a while for that one.  But, I have the custom string coming from Tracy for the Vulcan. It's not a speed bow anymore by todays standards, but it will fling an arrow.  |

The best???  Well or course mine is the best ... for me! I won't be breaking any records with it but 300 is reasonable and probably could break 310 ... anything overthat would be hopefull. I'll be hopefull and play a little and get back to ya. right now - 255 fps, 492 grn grizstic. ;D (Penetration on dirt behind elk is awesome) Can I add another rule? Take a pic of bow as it is right now! - The way I like it ... |

This should be fun!  I'm interested to see what the speeds will be from those that know how to mess with the bows to get the absolute most speed out of their bows as is possible. |

Dont let the fact that you are not shooting the fastest, stop you from posting  I am planning to run this as a true corrected speed competition  .... not a as is competition  Corrected....Doegirls rig is faster than mine (FOR RIGHT NOW THAT IS ) |

It might be a while before I can do much of anything. I had to take my Wife to the Hospital lastnight. Her water broke in the middle of the night, not good at 20 weeks. I stopped by the house to check on some things, contact those who I couldn't reach by phone and I'm headed back up there. If/when I get the chance, I will do some posting of speeds. |

Here's what I was gonna do ... post a pic of bow as is with chrony speed, post pic of bow and fastest arrow combo with chrony, and then back to hunting set-up and speed finished at (gained 5 fps this morning with hunting arrow)
omegabuck - prayers for you and your wife, forget the bow for a while and focus on the important stuff.
