This weather sucks for playing around with a bow .I thought I had a winner but am thinking I jumped the gun and got a low class bow.I also found out how noisy it is.I shot it at the same poundage as my Mathews mustang and it was 10 fps slower. But the string is loaded with junk.It has two string jacks-and a big peep with a garden hose tied to it and a string loop with one brass nock ring. Not sure but all that crap is probably worth 10 or more fps.I'm not even sure if it is close to being in tune. That might be some of the noise.I was wondering why it had 2 limb savers and 2 BIG jack things on the limbs.I got my Mustang and would shot an arrow then the Ben Pearson. The Mathews has it all over the Pearson.I don't know if I should take all the junk off it and play around or just try to get rid of it.It will never have the feel of my Mustang. Live and lurn

Sorry it's not working out for you! If you pull everything off the bow, and start from the ground up, you will know what you've got for sure and might be better able to judge if the effort to patch things up is worth it or not... You can see whats been done to date, and the outcome. But to turn that bow into a Mathews is probably going to be a stretch... Do check the timing and specs. That never hurts!

great advice! chrony it bare bow also - even the limbsavers slow an arrow down. I would seriously wonder about the bows tune if it is excessively noisy (or loose parts ). So going along with smj ... strip it; stick on nock point or d-loop, sight, rest and nothing else. tune it and shoot. Now you have a base-line for speed and noise and you can compare as you add stuff. rubber peeps are noisy and slow you 8-10 fps alone.
