It seems that my contact at Nap has resigned...not good. I sent an email to this addy to express my displeasure in the discontinuation of the Nighmare head. Feel free to contact them as well if this upsets you. newsletter@newarchery.com I can't get that link to appear hot...sorry.

Sent a email to them I wonder if they will reply or just ignore it. I am puzzled why they would drop such a great BH. I am just disgusted with them if they do in fact stop making this BH and now I will need to find a new BH I like. Let the search begin

If everyone on this site that uses them sends an email, at least we can have been heard for all it's worth. I stated straight out to them that I'm not a fan of the serrated blade, and that they are making a mistake.

Perhaps NAP wants to get into the gimmik side of bh's to compete with things like RAGE! I spoke to the director of engineering at NAP last fall after against my advice Kim bought some of the Bloodrunners. The reason I had to speak to him was because when I took them out of the packaging, they had a rattle to them. The solution to the rattle was none other than putting 3-in-1 oil in the slots by the blades. Apparently that's how they keep them from rattling right from the factory! ;D I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't think I want a head with OIL in it going into meat I will be eating! Although I wasn't impressed with the Bloodrunner to say the least, NAP does have some very fine offerings in their lineup. I will post his contact info at the bottom, and perhaps you folks can get in touch with him for some answers or see what's on the horizon at NAP. Bob Mizek Director of Engineering phone: 708-488-2502 ext. 106 email: Bob@newarchery.comThen again, perhaps this was Spiker's contact at NAP?

No, that wasn't him. But in regards to oil, always use vegetable oil on any moving parts. Edible, and less scent.

I will drop an email but to be honest...The Nightmare is an expensive head to produce. With the changes going on at NAP...I suppose that the bottom line is half the battle.
