Well I some how have a new bow .Not sure but things and deals have a way of turning up.I was talking to a guy I had met last year at the bow shop.He is short like me.I said we little guys kinda get screwed in the bow business. I had looked at a used Mathews 50-60 # with a 7" brace. I shot it but being half assed shooting with a match stick sight and a $599 price tag for a striped used bow turned me off. This guy told me he had a bow he wanted to sell. He got it because of a sholder problem and he sold his old bow that he loved to a neabor. He didn't like the new bow and when his neabor had some problem he bought his beloved bow back.I said I was interested. We got togeather and I picked it up and he let me bring it home to try.I now have a new bow. It's a Ben Pearson Spoiler Angle.50-60# 27" draw.New Cobra 3 pin-sight,stabilizer W/B a new release and 8 new Radial X weave 200 arrows + quiver for $300.cash . O and then he said he needs someone to hunt a 130 acre apple orchard that he has all to himself :-XWHAT DO YOU THINK MY ANSWER WAS. ;D This was a GOOD day

I shot for Pearson back when they were bigger than Bear and Martin I used to shoot the Spoiler...I loved it and sure that I would have no issues with it today. Very cool

New bow, new hunting partner with 130 acres now that sounds like a fantastic day OFB . Time to get out the Apple boost and have those deer come running in.

A fixed-pin sight is the most common type of sight, and the popular choice of hunters. A fixed-pin sight usually has 3 to 5 individual pins, which can each be set for a particular known distance. The top pin is for the closest distance, the lower pins are for longer distances. Once set, the pins are tightened and remain “fixed” in position during use. Setting up and adjusting a fixed-pin sight is pretty simple, but it does require some trial and error testing. And for those shooters who take their time, and set each pin just right, the fixed-pin sight yields excellent results - as they’re very reliable and easy-to-use in the field.

130 acre apple orchard. Where do you live again? Funny how we think alike...that was the part of the story I tuned into the most. Congrats on the great find OFBM.
