I would have to admit, standing still would a little tough in this situation

Honestly ... I think he is right. Skin and hair don't look right and when he moves it looks like it was bumped. Watch close and you will see a rebound after the move - and that arrow never even twitches. If it had been me ... I think I would have jently poked her right in the nose!!
The moose are definetly real - calf looks just about right for a 6 month old.
Now my question is ... how did they get it all set up?

That is a dummy.. a real good one. The head movement in the beginning is a good effect. If you watch the wheel on the bow, it almost never moves except by the wind. Moose can smell, and I'm sure that with the way the wind is blowing, they would never have gotten that close. JMHO..

I thought it looked like a dummy head but I will have to look at it again. The fact is that the camera was damn close...that wasn't zoomed in and looks maybe 4X

The head nods downward. I have to say..if this is fake...it is masterful

Look at the bow hand at 2:09 The thumb is straight out. No...you couldn't hold a bow like that steadily in the position that it is in. At least....I couldn't

Earlier I was looking for the bowhand ... just didn't look long enough. Your right ... too ridgid.
And ... at 1:45 - 1:55 you can see the idler string serving showing the bow at rest, however at about the same time you can see the arrow suggesting the bow is partly drawn - I can't see the string but it sure looks like the arrow is supported farther back and not poking out the front far enough.
I got to agree with your first assesment doegirl ... I couldn't hold the bow that still either!!!
they did an excellent job of settting up the situation - it is only nit-picking that is finding the flaw in the dummy.

Just as she turns to walk away the thumb on the bow hand moves up slightly as if getting a little better hold, way too subtle to be faked IMO ,not to mention even IF the hunter is fake there is no way the cameraman is.I think it's real.I've had elk nearly step on me before so I won't doubt this could happen.
