Started deer hunting in 1985(I was 11) and killed my first deer that year, a big doe, with my brothers Rem 7400 in .270 win. Havent looked back in 24 years. Bought my first bow in 2004, killed my first archery deer in 2005. Love the excitement of bow hunting, but prefer a rifle for some reason.... dont know why. My brother still has that Remington 7400 and I still have my first rifle, a Win 94 .30-30 that I got the following fall when I was 12. I still hunt with a .270 win, just in a Rem 700 instead of a 7400.
