Been sick with bronchitis and haven't hunted because I can't control my cough Getting cabin fever already Started playing around with FOC and wanted to see if there was much differance between field points and broad heads of the same weight. This is the differance I found. It's going to be a long winter ;D

From my crossbow the same arrow with a designated cock vane will have the same POI for both BH and FP. My arrow weight is 430 grains and the FOC is 22.5% I am finding different POI for arrows that look the same but seem to shoot different. I am pulling all the arrows apart and will fine tune each as it is resembled. I know about the cabin fever, I am setting up a 20 yard indoor range in the basement. Will have to watch out for the radial arm saw, drill press, and metal lathe. A hit on one of these tools would be very expensive. ;D Ghost

The broadhead sets the weight out over a higher leverage point. This is why you have a lesser FOC measurement....although, by weight there shouldn't be a difference. This is why the 1/1 are easier to tune that the 3/1 of the same cut range.
