OR JAILED No taxation without representation. Thats the law of the land....or is it?. This administration and the Senate has given tens of millions (upon millions) to congressional districts that dont exist This administration and the Senate has reported 20% of the jobs (supposedly) created to be in these districts...that dont exist If I refuse to pay my taxes which is being used in part to support this theft....what happens to me ? I have to admit.....I am feeling pretty used and abused at this time

Use to be they gave us a little vaseline to make it easier to take, but nowadays we are pounded on all fronts and backs, our only choice is to pick the one that hurts the least.... without the luxury of lubricant(money)........BUT, they are our choices, and we voted them in with nary a look at the mess they left at their previous home.....they were and are rewarded for taking advantage of the system..... Think they are going to change now??...I say Throw em out and let them be drug down the cobblestone street by the horse they rode in on.....
I know a man named Bob, he came into our shop every day to purchase car part, he was a very nice fellow, pretty funny too, then one day ol Bob comes in extends his hand and says "I'm running for congress, and I trust I have your vote"...What makes you think that?... "well I come in every day we talk, you know me and know I have your best interest at heart"......but Bob you don't know me, you don't know what I believe, or how I feel, and you have never ever came in here and talked politics, not even once!..... with that ol Bob left...... and not a one of us voted for him and he never got elected..........there are way too many out of touch politicians like ol Bob, when is the last time one came to talk to you? to hear your views?, to hear how you feel?. think about it!. they talk to their political friends every day.... who do you think they will side with?. it aint us and it's time for a change.

I believe that there need to be term limits for all senators and congressmen. The longer they are in office the more corrupt they become. IMO the current government is for sale to the highest bidder.
It is complete lunacy when they vote on bills that they haven't read. They all need to be replaced before what is left of this country is sold down the road.

Well, the vaseline was in the form of stuff the city, county and state, gave us that was free or nearly free, kinda throwing us a bone for being such good tax paying citizens, as a kid I remember going down to the nearby park twice a week for craft day, the city paid for it and all the neighborhood kids showed up and we all got along for the most part, swimming at the city park was cheap enough we didn't have to take out a loan, or beg our parents, or steal to get in, heck it was 35 cents, we'd just go pick up 4 pop bottles apiece and we were in like flint, it gave us a small sense of acomplishment do pay our own way, but then where I lived, fun became illegal, anything that was remotely fun was shut down, run out of town, or hassled into oblivion, different things came to take their place, at a greatly added cost I might add, brought by the same folks that ran our cheap and fun entertainment away, a few years back the state closed the nearby primitive camping area at the Salamonie resevoir, a place that I spent many a day and night at, when they did it, they just didn't close it as there was a massive uproar, they PLOWED it under.....BAM!...GONE!!......My father, his father and my great grandfather helped pay for that place, what right did they have to destroy something that was there so long and meant so much to so many people?... it's all about money, seriously started in the 80's, and it gets worse every year, problem is it's our money not theirs, and now they use it to screw us into silence and servitude, modern day slavery, sure we have the freedom to choose what we do in life but we are still working for room and board and instead of beatings we have now have jail and court............Oh lest I forget public humiliation.....Court notes, published tax rolls............myself I think any person that works for the government whether city ,county, state, or federal, that is in a position of public trust....That violates that public trust, IN ANY WAY, should be given special consideration and face at least 3 times the common maximum punishment, and yes that is cruel and unusual punishment, but the screw ups there don't just affect a few people they affect thousands, and millions in some cases... they want to speak for us, act for us in their own best interest, they should face a penalty greater than the common man as they have more responsibility than the average Joe....they should be held accountable and not just slapped on the hand..........

Agreed...but now ... how do you get the criminals to vote for stiff penalties against themselves Very Good question! I think there might be a couple ways to do it, 1st. a request from the people, grassroots built, create a frenzy, add media......stir!.... every "honest" politician will come out of the woodwork to prove ,by signing, that they are not a crook! #2. find an honest politician to sponsor a bill, all it will take is one, throw it to the media and stand back.. I think people, all people, would be in favor of holding these trusted public officials to a higher standard, at least to a standard benefitting their elevated stature and influence,..Hey they want to be put on a pedestal, they want to be treated special, they want to be the movers and shakers of our future, well, then they should be held at that same level of accountability.....
