Well just returned from a week of bowhunting and things are starting to finally heat up. I hunt with a buddy who lives about an hour and a half north of me and we have been giving it heck for the last 3 weeks with last week shut down for shotgun/ muzzleloader only. He shot a large doe on Monday and I got my chance at my widest racked buck to date. He's one of our 300 plus pounders but the rack is 27 in. wide with good mass. Too bad he's only an 8 but I'll take him as he is with no complaints. Using Switchback XT and 100 gr spitfires,

Very nice! To MANY hunters, that would be THE buck of a lifetime! Not often one like that comes along for the average hunter! Congrats!
