I hunted this evening for the first time.

I only hunt mornings for the most part.I have bene seeing
deer just about every time out at my son's.I had the chance
to hunt till dark today so figured I would give it a try.Got out
to my stand before 3:00.Two deer in food plot already . A
big doe and fawn.I am 30 feet from stand laying on the ground.
They are working there way toward me .My plan is to sit and
see what happens at night.I could have taken the shot but
started snapping sticks that she never heard.I had to beat
a stick on the ground and Russel the leaves to get her to leave.
She took off.I got set up and an hour later saw a small deer
feeding on the other side.Never came close.An hour later I
heard a cough (never heard it before) I said to my self BUCK.
I heard deer behind me and saw two small does .As I watched
them they grew spikes.They were the twin spike bucks I keep
seeing.They walked into the F/P and got a little nervous.I saw
one looking across then turned and they both ran.I don't know
if he heard somthing saw somthing or smelled the big doe I
spooked out before he was right were she ran.Now I figure
I better eat my peanut butter sandwich.I take off my scent-lok
head cover and eat.I finish and turn back .O crap two deer
walked in while I eat it.I think it's the same big doe and fawn.
I am fumbling around trying to get the head peace over my
hat and she makes the moment .She is out of there.A little
later I see deer over by my mineral block 100 yards away.I
hear somthing very close and don't move for 20 min.Still don't
know if it was a squirrel or deer.After that I see one deer and
more legs coming out in the lower area.I saw at least two but
they must have smelled the other deer and wanted nothing to
do with walking into the food plot.Now it is to dark to shoot
so I get my things and try to be quiet.Instead of going through
the woods I cross the food plot and walk down the road that
go's to the other food plot.60 yards from the other plot I think
I see flash lights or somthing .No 5 or more flags from deer
in the other food plot . They love FULL DRAW.I have tried many
and for me it is the best.
