I was talking to a guy that I work with today. He was telling me that his neighbor makes custom longbows. He gave me the website. The bows look really nice and he will make them with the wood and glass you choose. I may talk to the guy in the next few weeks and see if I can see one in person. I may be in the market if they impress me enough. www.custom-longbows.com/index.htm

58" and 62" longbows... If you have a longer draw length - like over 28 inches - draw one and check for stack. I draw about 31 inches, and most longbow designs at 66" or less stack rather badly for me. Or, ask him for a force curve plot and check out where the stack happens. His bows look good, and he offers good wood choices! I like the idea of using a CAD system... I have done that myself to get the limb patterns the way I wanted them. Do let us know how you make out!

You are like Votto here in as much as that long draw. When we first met he told me about this super shrew that he was having problems shooting By the time he had it all stretched out it was probably near 80# and had to have stacked like free weights at that draw length of his
