I am always up for trying somthing to see if It works for me and makes me shoot better, easier and with less chance of a problem. As much as I started with and like a string loop and peep I will say I am not 100% happy with how it lines up.Yesterday after reading a post by BT I decided to remove my string loop.I want to shorten my draw lanth by the 3/8+ added by the loop.My last loop was always moving and gave me hart burn after I put to much super glue on it.Also I don't need it having to fail or being replaced during hunting season.Who knows I might put it back on in a week or two. ???But for now after the rain stops (that my plot needs bad) I will see how it go's.I took 6-8 shots yesterday in the rain just to find the nock point again. And I see a problem with the peep not being 100% lined up unless I make sure it is in the right position before I draw.I don't want to be looking at a deer's chest with a string cutting through the hole.Is there a way to make it so the peep will line up every time you draw. I will only do this to one bow untill I see where it takes me.

It's fun to tinker ... but there are drawbacks!
What string do you have? My two favorites are winners choice and Stn. Mtn. Dakota for no rotation.
If you have one of those two you CAN get the peep to always come to the same position until the string begins to give up the ghost. Either press the bow and twist the string, or split the string and rotate strands around the peep to get it lined up at the shot.
Other options include a nockset with a metal alignment point that keeps your peep aligned, or a three strand peep that has smaller string strands that can interfer with vision but still (kinda) see around if they get in the way.
Last but unprefered is a rubber tube attached to your peep to align it at full draw.
How does your new draw length feel? How does the peep elevation line up now (you may have to move the peep up a hair).

I used to rotate it the way Royden suggested, (by moving strands over), but these 2 color strings make it look messy these days. If you are using a string loop, the fix is easy. You just rotate the loop a little to line up with the peep, and tighten it down. If not, then you can always twist the string 1/2 turn either way to see if it falls in place. I see that you removed your string loop..the string twist might be the best option.

winners choice string - I would press the bow, add a 1/2 twist to the string C/CW (make sure to balance the twist on both sides of the idler)
