I like evenings just because our deer are still in the summer pattern and you bust them out of feeding areas if your not careful in the AM

Mornings are cooler and you have more time to track a deer, less chance your deer will be feeding the yotes. Ghost

I prefer mornings because I can have that deer cleaned by noon ... and I dont like the heat I do alot better in the a.m. too. I hunt travel routes so I dont have to worry about busting them. In fact...in some places, I can save my time by not sitting a stand where there wont be any deer. If I see them in the field, I can come in through the woods and be ready before they get there. If they are not visible, I go to the next place

I spend from dawn to dusk every day I'm out, no breaks, have usually got my deer half hour before dark! just the way it has worked for me.

I like all parts of the day but prefer mornings as it gives longer for recovery and processing. Really like evenings from the point of seeing deer but feel the pressure of making a great shot in usually failing light Also can make for a very late night but then who really cares

I am answering this as if I could only hunt one or the other. It would be mornings. Personally, I have seen more deer in the morning. Deer Biologists say that (over all) mornings have a slight advantage over evenings. I like the mental aspect to the evening hunt. Where I live, as a rule, the deer move in the first and last 45 min of light. So, on a morning hunt, as time goes by I feel my chanches are getting slimmer. On an evening hunt, every min that clicks by there is more chance that a deer will come through.

I voted mornings all so. Where I hunt the deer can't see me getting into my stand while they are feeding in the field. I have had more chances at deer in the morning than the evening. The deer just don't come through the area I hunt till late evening so by the time they make it to the field to feed it is after dark.
