NO, I would wait for him to take one more step and give a clearer shot. He is watching that female and I would say following her. By the way he is facing he would keep turning to his left giving a good quartering away shot. He is relaxed so no need to rush a shot.

Nope, too many small branches in the area that counts. Also he does look like he will step out in front of you to offer a clear shot

While there is alot of small branches, that bush is about 10 yards in front of me. If I can estimate the trajectory (through a hole in the brush in front of me) I am taking the shot with a compound. The lungs are as big as a 20 gallon trash can.....hard to miss.

The 60 yard thing bothers me. But, If I'm going for Moose with a bow, I'm gonna be ready for a 60 yard shot. I have no problem with his positioning. If he is following the female moose, His next step may make him more quartering away. I'm most likely gonna let fly if it isn't extremely windy.

Yes I could make the shot no doubt but why take the chance when one step puts him out of all that trash by his vitals. I am sure I would have Moose Fever and be shaking a little and a 60 yard shot with the branches in the way I would have to wait. Better to let him live than chance wounding him.
